The community is teaming up with MEDASSET (Mediterranean Association to Save the Sea Turtles) for a special, high-impact summer edition of our beach cleanup! 

Our coastlines need our help, and every pair of hands makes a difference. This event is all about actively contributing to the protection of our marine ecosystems, removing plastic waste that threatens marine wildlife, and connecting with others who care about keeping Greece's beaches beautiful. 

What we'll do:

• Briefing & Setup: We'll gather at the meeting point for a quick, eye-opening introduction by the environmental experts at MEDASSET regarding marine turtle conservation and proper waste sorting.
• The Cleanup: We'll gear up with gloves and bags (all cleanup supplies are provided) and hit the beach.
• Socialize & Connect: After wrapping up the cleanup, we’ll grab a group photo, tally up our impact, and hang out to chat and network by the sea.

What to bring:

• Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes or sneakers.
• A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and your reusable water bottle.
• Positive energy and a passion for making an impact!

This event is free and open to everyone—expats and locals alike. Come by yourself, bring a friend, or join with family. It’s a fantastic way to do some good while networking with a great crowd!
