- Identity: Name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, and profile photo.
- Profile: T-shirt size, preferred skill level, and city.
- Activity: Registrations, group/team participation, RSVP responses, and chat participation.
- Technical: Device type, browser, OS, IP address, and general location.
- Location: Foreground location (with permission) for venue discovery.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Core Services: Account management, activity matching, registration, and payments.
- Communication: Reminders, updates, and support.
- Improvement: Analytics, feedback, and platform optimization.
- Security: Fraud prevention and policy enforcement.
- Legal: Compliance with legal obligations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Activity Providers: Necessary details for participation.
- Payment Processors: Viva Wallet (we do not store card details).
- Service Partners: Hosting, analytics, and messaging providers.
- Legal: Authorities when required by law.
- Other Users: Teammates or group members where relevant.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
- Retention: Data is kept as long as necessary for service delivery or legal compliance.
- Account Deletion: Request via app (Profile -> Delete Account) or website (www.voorsocial.com/data-removal). Accounts are deactivated immediately. Data is deleted/anonymized within 30 days.
- Chat Data: Private chats may be removed; group messages are anonymized upon account deletion.
- Legal Retention: Limited metadata may be retained for legal, tax, or security purposes.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict processing, and request data portability. Contact us at support@voorsocial.com to exercise these rights.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for platform functionality. Non-essential cookies (performance, functional) require your explicit opt-in via our consent banner. You can manage preferences anytime in the website footer.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. While we strive for absolute security, no system is entirely foolproof.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are restricted to users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
9. User-Generated Content (UGC)
By submitting content (photos, messages), you grant Voor Social a license to use it for platform operations. You remain the owner and are responsible for your content. We may remove content that violates our terms.
10. Team Invitations
When a team captain invites you to join their team, Voor Social stores the following data on your behalf:
- Email address and profile details provided by the captain (name, birthdate, size, gender category).
- Invitation metadata: date sent, expiry date, identity of the captain, activity ID.
This data is stored from the moment the invitation is created. If you do not respond within 7 days, the invitation is marked as expired and is not used to create a registration. No Voor Social user account is created solely on the basis of receiving an invitation.
You may request deletion of your invitation data at any time by contacting support@voorsocial.com.
If you accept the invitation, a full Voor Social registration is created and your data is processed under the standard privacy terms above.
We do not use your invitation data for marketing purposes.
